Our mission is to improve the lives of Palestinian children and other children in crisis through development and emergency relief.
The West Bank is home to more than 2.4 million people, over 47% of whom are children, living in 2124 square miles.
Since 1967, the West Bank has witnessed the continuing establishment of illegal Israeli settlements, 150 as of 2012, in addition to the construction of an immense Wall, 440 feet long and in some areas 26feet high, the vast majority of which is located inside the West Bank itself, cutting off access to land, loved ones, schools, and workplaces. Further, the Wall has caused severe fragmentation of the West Bank resulting in the creation of isolated ‘enclaves’ throughout and the displacement of over 28,000 people.
KinderUSA works with a broad range of partners implementing programs that target the most vulnerable children, focusing on health and nutrition, education, development, and relief.
